The Master of Science in Health care Management and administration provides healthcare managers with practical knowledge to lead teams, improve processes, and implement strategy within the complex world of healthcare delivery. The courses aim to provide healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to be an effective manager in the healthcare sector, equipping participants with an understanding of the external context in which healthcare organizations operate, how they are managed, and analytical techniques that can be applied to decision-making processes within the health sector.

Course Objective

Graduates of the Master of Health care and Management program will be able to:
  • To conduct research in health care and management domain
  • Analyze the competitive environment to develop and execute healthcare strategy
  • Employ statistical, qualitative, and quantitative data to support informed decision making to healthcare strategy, policy, and delivery
  • Manage the changing needs in a complex healthcare environment
  • Use management practices to advance a healthcare organization’s strategic goals
  • Apply business principles and quality management to improve healthcare delivery
  • Apply ethical, legal, and professional standards affecting relationships in healthcare organizations

Entry Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in the biological, sociocultural, behavioral, and policy domains that impact the health of the population these include Nursing and Midwifery, Medicine, Social work and psychology, Nutrition, Counselling, Public health, Community Development.
